We own and operate mining and milling operations in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. Adirondack Operations Mining and Concentration The crystalline hard rock ore is mined from an open pit and crushed prior to the separation process. A large, state of the art concentrate mill utilizes multiple stage separation techniques to produce a high purity, high quality feed stock for the finish grade mills. Finished Goods The concentrate is then transferred to the finished goods mill where the product is graded, treated and packaged. All Barton abrasives are produced to tight quality specifications and guaranteed to meet customer satisfaction. Administration The Sales, Logistics and Accounting groups are based in our offices in Glens Falls, NY. The company transformed a 19th century building into a visionary green headquarters, designated LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), www.usgbc.org. LEED Platinum is the highest rating under USGBC’s system for designing and constructing the world’s greenest, most energy efficient and highest performing buildings.
